I use photography as a tool for understanding the world.
As a media for encountering and registering beauty of the quotidian surrounding us. With a camera we can acknowledge infinite more details than with an eye, as human vision is always linked to a space-time progression.
These series here presented are comprehended as compilations of frozen space-time blocks; fragments of reality referred to a something´s before and after. Pictures show a state of things, just as it is, revealed and placed in the world by a mediated technical eye.
Photographs are conceived as unique and immutable objects, as frames of existence belonging to a certain narrative from which their significance emanates.
I use an analogical 35mm reflex camera and mobile devices when it is not available.
What marvels me about photography is its capacity to unveil the hidden or unappreciated and to place in the world, where it becomes real.
Although my photographic practice started 22 years ago this is the first time I share it. I hope you enjoy it.
